Live Hangout at 5 pm with UN Disaster Telemedicine Service
This is a non-profit United Nations-affiliated NGO formed by and for medical professionals that is dedicated to providing medical education to healthcare providers worldwide that are faced with both sudden and ongoing medical crises for which they may not be adequately trained.
Disasters obviously changes many local dynamics, and bring about particular healthcare problems. Moisture, lack of sanitation, cramped living conditions increase infectious disease.
