HIMSS opened the HIMSS Innovation Center, which is the only physical and virtual, state-of-the-art, testing, exhibition and conference facility that offers real-time demonstration of how healthcare technologies contribute to safer, higher quality and more cost-effective care and ensures that information gets to the right people at the right time to enable informed decisions.
HIMSS Innovation Center Collaborators are part of an elite team of innovators working together to facilitate health information exchange and to lead the advancement of health information management by optimizing the use of technology.

“Healthcare innovation for OnX is all about leveraging today’s technology to solve business problems that our healthcare clients are facing. Monumental changes are occurring in the way that healthcare is being delivered, consumed, and paid for. Our job is to create a technology foundation that supports the volume-to-value change, while being mindful of the added financial risk and pressure that our clients are facing, said Mike McQuaid, US healthcare strategist, OnX Enterprise Solutions, Mayfield Heights, Ohio, in an article that appeared in Crain’s Cleveland Business in 2015. OnX is an Industry Collaborator at the HIMSS Innovation Center.
