3 D printing is heavily impacting medicine today; 3d printed skin, soon kidneys, livers, other organs, the reproduction of important medical equipement, devices…..  Tune in Wednesday night.

Here follows from their website……

“3D in Medicine” is a two hour seminar to inform you on how you can use 3D technology in your own research and exploration, as well as looking at how 3D technology is improving and enhancing the medical care you receive. However, not all doctors, hospitals, dentist and even radiology labs are investing in these new tools either out of the lack of knowledge, the cost of upgrading current equipment or sadly — it takes them out of their comfort zone. We will see how the simple web browser can become your best weapon against lazy diagnosis, simple but life threatening mistakes and yes finding a doctor. It is my hope that you leave with a better understanding on how 3D is not only making the impossible, possible, but reducing the cost of medicine and increasing your chances of surviving and improving your quality of life.
