“TOUCH SURGERY” a great App, and a Great Tool for fledging surgeons
Simulation in Medicine seems to becoming more popular as a training tool for doctors. It is used by Mimic Technologies of Seattle to train Robotic Surgeons. And, here, with “Touch Surgery“, it is being used to simulate surgical conditions, which have obvious educational advantages.
And, it was a twist of digital fate, and an example of how hanging around Social Media can aid the cause of medicine. One of this website’s tweets, was retweeted by one of the founders of this excellent app, Andrew Chow MD, a London surgeon. And follow up of Dr. Chow’s resume led us to this website of his team’s app and tool.
The following is lifted from their website, thanks guys! It tells their message well, and gives me time to write to Andrew.
